Frukt Soppa (sweet fruit soup)

3 cups water

½ cups pitted prunes

½ cup raisins

2 medium apples, pared, cored, and sliced

18¾ ounce can pitted dark sweet cherries

1 medium orange, peeled, sliced

¾ cup sugar

¼ cup quick-cooking tapioca

2 inch stick of cinnamon

dash salt

2 cups grape juice

In sauce pan combine water, prunes and raisins. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered for 10 minutes. Add fruit, sugar, tapioca, cinnamon and salt. Simmer, covered for 12 to 15 minutes or until apples are tender and mixture is slightly thickened. Stir in grape juice. Chill before serving.
