Boone County Democratic Party will host a chili supper with Robin Carnahan from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Knights of Columbus Hall. $10 for adults, free for kids.

The American Red Cross will hold blood drives from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bizzy Realty and Property Management, 310 W. Monroe St. in Mexico, Mo., and from 2 to 7 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Churdch, 407 Harris St. in Pilot Grove.

Tuesday

The Columbia Kiwanis Club will meet at noon at Jack’s Gourmet Restaurant. Naomi Cupp will present a program on "Kids and Special Olympics."

William Woods University will present a speech about Iran by Lily Tinker-Fortel, community outreach coordinator with Mid-Misssouri Peaceworks in Columbia, at 7 p.m. in the library auditorium.

Columbia Toatmasters Club will meet from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Adams Conference Center at the College of Veterinary Medicine. 442-7748.

The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Advanced Technology center, 2900 Doreli Lane, Mexico, Mo.

Friday

Muleskinners will host Skip Elkin, Boone County commissioner, at noon at the Upper Crust, 904 Elm St. Visit boonecountydems.org.

Karis Community Church will host another installment of its Movies and Mindmaps series at 6:30 p.m. at the Boone County Chambers Room, 801 E. Walnut St. Admission is free.

Columbia Pachyderm Club will meet at noon at Jack’s Gourmet Restaurant. Presenter will be John Sullivan, president, ColPac Club.

The American Red Cross will hold blood drives from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Stephens College and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at MU’s Memorial Union.

Columbia College Relay for Life Team will host a used book sale in Dulany Hall on the campus from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. Open to the community.

Saturday

Westside Kiwanis Chili Luncheon will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fairview Church of Christ. Proceeds benefit community youths; $8 all you can eat.

Bushwacked program will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday and 2 p.m.Sunday at Missouri State Museum in Jefferson City. Free and open to the public.

Hallsville High School Fine Arts Booster Fundraiser will present a Q106.1 basketball game at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m. at West Gym in Hallsville; $5 adults, $3 kids and seniors.

CMCA will again be offering the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program to low-income workers and families through April 15. Clinics available from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at CMCA, 400 Wilkes Blvd. Appointments are by walk-in. For more information, call Teri at 443-8731.
