A Sept. 26, 2009, wedding in Columbia is planned by Samantha Stutzman and Chris Thornton. Parents of the engaged couple are Marcia Campbell of Grandview and Bill and Cathy Thornton of Columbia. The future bride, a 2004 graduate of Harrisonville High School in Harrisonville, is studying biology at Columbia College. She is a lab tech in Columbia. The future groom, a 2000 graduate of Hickman High School, received a degree in business administration from the University of Missouri in 2004. He is a loan officer in Columbia.
