Nettles-Adams

An April 4, 2009, wedding at First Presbyterian Church in Mexico, Mo., is planned by Elizabeth Adams and Lucas Nettles.

Parents of the engaged couple are David and Kathryn Adams of Columbia and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Shawn Nettles of Walterboro, S.C.

The future bride, a 1999 graduate of Mexico High School, received a bachelor’s degree in education from Columbia College in 2003. She is a teacher at Colleton County High School in Walterboro.

The future groom, a 2001 graduate of Walterboro High School, received a bachelor’s degree in communication from the College of Charleston in Charleston, S.C., in 2005. He owns and operates Lucas Electric in Walterboro.
