Parents of the engaged couple are Kristina and Mark Estes, Dwayne Cox, Carla Wilson, and Charles and Melody Wilson, all of Columbia.

The future bride, a 2005 graduate of Hickman High School, is studying biology at Columbia College. She is a laboratory technician in Columbia.

The future groom, a 2003 graduate of Hickman High School, received a degree in criminal justice administration from Columbia College in 2007. He is a deputy juvenile officer in Columbia.
