Phoebe Bene and Jordan Derrick were married Sept. 13, 2008, at Shelter Gardens in Columbia. The bride’s brother, Leland Bene, performed the double-ring ceremony for the daughter of Ann and Dan Bene of Columbia and the son of Brett and Karen Derrick of Columbia.

Maid of honor was Allison Branham of Chicago. Bridesmaids were Valerie Bene, sister of the bride, of Columbia; Theresa Bene, sister of the bride, of Columbia; and Jubilee Raymond of Columbia.

The bride wore her great-grandmother’s dress from 1929.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Tiger Hotel Ballroom in Columbia. The couple will reside in Plato.
