Jean Murphy 1927-2008

Jean M. Murphy, 80, of Columbia passed away Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008. Services will be at a later date. Jean was born Dec. 12, 1927, in Chicago, the daughter of Paul and Edna Long Grodetz. She married Dennis J. Murphy in 1955 in Chicago, and he preceded her in death in 2001. Survivors include two sons; one daughter; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Arrangements are by Nilson Funeral Home.
