A May 16, 2009, wedding in Negril, Jamaica, is planned by Natalee Wooden and Ronald Thornton Jr.

Parents of the engaged couple are Larry Wooden of Columbia and the late Stacye Brown-Wooden of Jefferson City, and Ronald and Gail Thornton of Columbia.

The future bride, a 1996 graduate of Hickman High School, received a master’s degree in sociology/criminal justice at Lincoln University in Jefferson City. She works for the Phoenix Family Housing Corporation in Columbia.

The future groom, a 1992 graduate of Hickman High School, works for the Columbia Housing Authority.
