Alan and Yvonne Skouby of Columbia celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with travel in Italy and France. They were married on June 21, 1958, in Osage County. In August, a special family dinner was held in Columbia.

They have two children, Mark Skouby of Mentor, Ohio and Nancy Skouby of Indianapolis; and three grandchildren.
