‘Smart’ light to help town clear traffic

HALLSVILLE - A year after contributing $30,000 toward an intersection realignment project, the Hallsville Board of Aldermen is planning to foot half of the bill for installation of a "smart" stoplight at the same intersection sometime next year - a project estimated to cost $150,000.
