Scary fall fun awaits families in Hartsburg

The family-favorite Hartsburg Pumpkin Festival returns from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday with a straw maze, crafts, food and more. Music will be provided from 1 to 3 p.m. by Mick Byrd and Bonus Track. The free event continues Sunday at the same time and includes music by Oatmeal for the Foxhounds. Learn more at www.hartsburgpumpkinfest.com. If you’re looking for another fall adventure, check out Shryock’s Callaway Farms’ corn maze. It will be open every weekend through Nov. 2. Hours are 4 to 9 p.m. Fridays; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturdays and 2 to 6 p.m. Sundays. Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for children ages 3 to 12 and free for children younger than 3.
