Biden schedules visit
tomorrow to capital

Vice presidential candidate Joe Biden is returning tomorrow to Mid-Missouri. The running mate for Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama is scheduled to appear at an event at Memorial Park, 901 W. Main St. in Jefferson City. The gates will open at 5:30 p.m., and the program starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are required for attendance. Anyone from Columbia who wants to attend can go to the Columbia Campaign for Change office at 22 S. Ninth St. until 9 tonight. Tickets also are available at the Jefferson City Campaign for Change office and the Callaway County Democratic Party office in Fulton. Biden, a U.S. senator from Delaware, visited Columbia for a Sept. 9 town hall meeting at the Activity & Recreation Center.
