Columbia Public Schools’ elementary counselors are hosting forums this month to allow parents to preview sexual abuse prevention materials that will be shown to children this school year.

The viewings, for parents only, will be held at 6:30 p.m. for kindergarten through second grades and at 7:15 p.m. for third through fifth grades on Thursday at Mill Creek Elementary School, 2200 Nifong Blvd. A second viewing will be held at the same times Oct. 14 at Parkade Elementary School, 111 Parkade Blvd.
