Private services will be held.

She was born Oct. 19, 1934, to John and Florence Isgrig and grew up on a farm in rural Missouri. Mary Ann graduated from Mexico High School in 1952. She married her high school sweetheart, Jerry P. McCauley, on Jan. 12, 1955, in Columbia. They proudly raised four children, Dan, Patti, Carol and Doug.

Mrs. McCauley loved all aspects of being a mother and a homemaker. She especially enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, interior design, painting, sketching, playing cards and collecting dolls and Native American artwork.

Mary Ann was famous for her meals and entertaining abilities. She put her heart into everything she did. Everyone was at home in Mary Ann’s house; many of the children’s friends called her their second mom.

Mary Ann was co-owner and board member of the McCauleys’ company, Aire-Master of America Inc., an odor control and commercial hygiene service business. Jerry and Mary Ann established their business in 1958. Throughout the early days and beginnings of their now-international franchise system, Mary Ann was in charge of the building design and served as hospitality coordinator, truly making employees and franchisees feel like family.

She was very active preparing meals and supporting her husband’s duties as elder in the Worldwide Church of God during their membership and service. The McCauleys loved to travel and built their dream home in 1989 on the Oregon coast. They spent their retirement traveling between their homes in Oregon and Missouri.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Jerry McCauley; daughter Patti Kilgore of Depoe Bay; daughter Carol Bosserman of Brooklyn Park, Minn.; son Douglas McCauley of Springfield; sister Betty Matteson of Jefferson City; one granddaughter, Larisa Bosserman, also of Brooklyn Park; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John William and Florence Elizabeth Britton Isgrig; son Dan McCauley; brothers Ralph Isgrig, Clyde Isgrig, Melburn Isgrig, John O. Isgrig and Elmer Isgrig; and sister Ruby Lee Woolfolk.

Remembrances to the Tyler Turner Fund handled by West Coast Bank, P.O. Box 991, Depoe Bay, Ore., 97341.
