Workers for Karenbrock Construction Inc. of Melle spread concrete for two new collegiate-size basketball courts yesterday at Douglass Park. The courts have seven basketball goals as well as concrete pads for players’ and spectators’ benches. A new 6-foot sidewalk will wind through and around the park at Rogers Street and Providence Road. The $162,000 project will be completed by the end of June.
