The University of Missouri athletic department has hired Whit Babcock as a senior associate athletic director. Babcock replaces Eric Morrison, who left the department in June.

At Missouri, Babcock will oversee all fund-raising related to the Tiger Scholarship Fund and oversee the marketing and promotions department, athletic ticket office and Mizzou Sports Properties.

Babcock, a native of Harrisonburg, Va., spent the last five years as the assistant athletic director and executive director of development at West Virginia University. He spent the previous five years at Auburn, including the final two as assistant athletic director for development.
