HOLLYWOOD HEADLINERS

A raw deal for robbed Prince

It’s hard to top Lindsay, Paris and Britney in this month’s scandal sweepstakes, but Zsa Zsa Gabor’s husband might have done it last week by claiming that a trio of women robbed him, stripped him and handcuffed him to his Rolls-Royce.

Prince Frederic Von Anhalt, eighth spouse of the 90-year-old actress, called L.A. cops around 10 a.m. to say he’d been driving on Bellagio Road behind the Los Angeles Country Club when he was flagged down by three women in a white Chrysler convertible with Florida plates.

"They said they’d seen him on TV and asked to get a picture with him," LAPD spokesman Kevin Maiberger tells us.

A moment later, von Anhalt told police, one of the women put a gun to his neck. "He told me they took his gold chain, watch and gold rings from his family," Gabor’s rep John Blanchette told us.

Von Anhalt, who was born around 1943, said the women also took his wallet, removed his clothes and cuffed him to the steering wheel of the 2006 Rolls, according to Blanchette.

Somehow they left him with his cell phone, which he used to call 911. Police found him about an hour later. Curiously, a crew from "Entertainment Tonight" also learned of the press-friendly prince’s distress. They brought him a robe.

Some might be skeptical of his tale. In February, he claimed he’d had a decade long affair with Anna Nicole Smith and could be the father of the late Playmate’s wealthy baby, Dannielynn.

Asked whether there were any witnesses to the incident, the LAPD spokesman said, "Not that we’re aware of."

The police "brought him home," Blanchette told us. "He’s with Zsa Zsa now."

Reporter Patricia Towle tells us that Von Anhalt told friends he has suspicions about who was behind the robbery.

In 2005, Gabor sued Francesca Hilton, her daughter by the late Conrad Hilton, claiming she stole $2 million and used it to buy a mansion.

Ladling out the praise

"I wanted to set this movie in New York because it’s an incredible food city," said "No Reservations" director Scott Hicks, who recently was preaching to the converted at Le Cirque. Food fanatics like owner Sirio Maccioni, Martha Stewart, Jay McInerney, Jacques Pepin, Drew Nieporent, Richie Notar and Phil Suarez all turned out to taste chef Christophe Bellanca’s Chilean sea bass - and congratulate Hicks, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Aaron Eckhart and Bob Balaban on their new romantic culinary dramedy.

"The best part of the movie was the quality of the food because Zeta-Jones is a perfectionist chef," Nieporent said. "And the battles between owner Patricia Clarkson and the chef reminded me of a couple of antagonistic relationships I’ve had with my chefs."

The plot involves attempts to get Abigail Breslin, who Zeta-Jones must suddenly adopt, to eat. Pepin gave some pointers: "The family should cook and eat together. Get them involved!"

Damon is a diplomat on ‘Bourne’

Director Doug Liman still has a friend in Matt Damon.

Back when they made "The Bourne Identity" together, Liman clashed with the movie’s screenwriter and producers, who refused to work with him on "The Bourne Supremacy." Thus, Liman was replaced with director Paul Greengrass, who has also directed "The Bourne Ultimatum."

Damon refused to play favorites when we asked him which director he prefers. "I would be happy to just work with those two guys for the rest of my career," he told us at a recent "Ultimatum" premiere in Los Angeles.

"It gets forgotten that Doug was the visionary behind the ‘Bourne’ movie trilogy," Damon said. "He was the one that saw that audiences wanted a spy that they could relate to."

Side dishes

Paris Hilton’s post-prison "new leaf" might be one you can smoke, according to usmagazine.com. At Guy’s nightclub in West Hollywood, the heiress recently made out with Mischa Barton’s ex, Cisco Adler, and "openly" partook of marijuana, sources told the mag. Hilton’s rep tells us: "She was absolutely not smoking pot."
