Aaron Ludwig plays his cello yesterday as part of his group Trio Lunaire from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music during the semifinals of the Plowman Chamber Music Competition at the Missouri Theatre Center for the Arts. Music ensembles from across the country competed in the event presented by the Missouri Symphony Society. The semifinals will continue this morning until noon, and finalists will perform at the theater tonight. Admission is free for the semifinals and $10 for the finals, which begin at 7 p.m.
