More than 200 Girl Scouts from 16 Mid-Missouri troops participated in the event, learning about the chemistry of color through several activities, including M&M chromatography, cabbage indicators and tie-dyeing. More than 60 MU students and members of the chemistry fraternity, Alpha Chi Sigma, along with parents and troop leaders helped MU chemistry professor Sheryl Tucker put on the program.
